The D.C. June 15, 2008 - Resident academic contest entries due

All of our resident members are invited to participate in DCSA's first resident academic contest by submitting an abstract or case presentation by June 15. Your entries may be submitted by e-mail or mail to Dr. Eileen Begin for judging by three esteemed members of our Society, Dr. Burt Epstein, Dr. Carl Sylvester, and Dr. Sudha Ved. Residents, start working on those case reports! First prize is $500 cash, 2nd prize is $300 and 3rd prize is $200.

Saturday, July 12, 5:00 p.m. - Residents' Inservice Training Exam party

The DCSA will also be hosting a party for all members to help our residents unwind after their Inservice Training Exam. The party will be held July 12 at Lia's restaurant at 4435 Willard Ave., Chevy Chase, MD 20815 at 5:00 p.m. A special feature at this party will be the announcement of the winners of DCSA's first resident academic contest.  We had a wonderful turnout for this event last year, and we hope the party is even bigger this year! Please RSVP (as above) for the July 12 event by June 30.
